Customer Recommendation

"The boat was wonderful – beautiful, fast, reliable, roomy and comfortable. Just right for our family of three, our two good friends and the captain. All our passages were exciting; all the ports we visited were uniquely beautiful. What made our vacation truly memorable, though, were the special things about sailing the islands that you shared with us. Your love of Greece and particularly the people and places on the islands we visited brought them to life for us as we sailed through our all-too-short week. You were there to answer our many questions, to help us correctly pronounce our limited inventory of Greek phrases and to speak for us when that inventory was exhausted. With your advice, we found beautiful little villages and walked ancient roads. We knew where to buy fresh bread and very good wine in the small towns and cities we visited. We learned how and to tie up for the night, where the best tavernas were, the location of a secluded swimming beach on Syros and great Italian food in Mykonos. On our “sea path” we were able to experience the Islands as travelers and not as tourists and, by the way, we learned a bit about sailing, too.

You and your staff were great help and comfort to us before and after our sailing trip too. You were only a phone call away to personally help us pick up and return the rental car, get us to the hotel through Athens traffic and be the source of knowledge and information that helped us navigate the landscape as if we had done it before.

Ann and I will always remember the sun setting behind the Temple of Poseidon, visiting the Lion of Kea amid blooming wildflowers of every description, swimming in the harbor at ancient Delos or sharing the morning’s first pot of coffee with a weathered fisherman in an island port. Happily we know we have a special friend in Greece whom we can call the next time we head that way, and feel comfortable recommending to travelers lucky enough to be planning a trip to cruise the Aegean.

Many, many thanks. We hope for many happy returns.

Almost as soon as we stepped on board, we felt an internal shift…

As soon as I stepped onboard the s/y Maya the stress, tension and worries I wasn't even aware I'd brought with me just melted away - like sugar stirred into a cup of rich Greek coffee. Time slowed down for us, and every experience suddenly seemed brighter, more in focus. For the entire week we lived in the "now" and saw everything through a different lens. This was due in huge part to the care and attention we received from Captain Mario and Eleni whose attention to the tiniest detail and dedication to making sure we were totally and completely pampered was like nothing we'd ever experienced before!

We got to experience Greece the way few tourists ever do… We were able to explore the Cyclades islands, and discover some of its little exotic secrets and hidden treasures…

...We met and got to know some of the dynamic, charming people who live there - on a much deeper and more meaningful level, and we left having we'd made real friendships…

But most important of all, we felt as if we somehow became a part of Greece… And it became a part of us...

Thank you Seapaths for giving us memories that we're going to treasure for a lifetime...and for giving us a reason to come back next year!

A never to-be-forgotten Honeymoon!

I'm writing to say thank you. Our honeymoon photo album arrived today, and looking through the photos of our wonderful trip brought it all back to me!

You know, every bride hopes her honeymoon will be something special - but I never expected to feel like I'd stepped into a movie set where I was the star! The first couple of days I kept pinching myself to see if I was dreaming - because it was all just so perfect!

I just had to write and ask you to say thanks again to Captan Kosta and Maria who went so completely out of their way to give us the best honeymoon ever!

I don't know what I loved best - being able to snorkel and discover the caves off of Milos, or spending the afternoon shopping on Mykonos. (That little jewelry store you recommended was amazing and I am still showing off the bracelet and earrings that Jim bought me there!)

Every moment on board the Fun Club I, was a dream come true! We feel like we got to see a Greece that most tourists never even experience and it was so hard to leave - even though I was excite about settling in to our new apartment.

Anyway, I wasn't kidding when I said I was already planning our next vacation sailing around the Greek Islands with Seapaths. I've been talking to my two sisters and we've decided it would make a great family trip for the six of us, so I'd like Amy to send us some information about sailing around the Dodecanese Islands this time around, and to recommend just the right sailing yacht for three couples.

Thanks again,
Becky and Jim Morris

Merci Beaucoup for a Wonderful Trip!

We have been returned home for a week already, but our trip is still fresh in our minds. We cannot thank you enough for all the help we received in planning our perfect Greek Islands vacation. Seeing Athens for the first time was incroyable, and we loved the chance to take photos of the Acropolis by night. But even that paled in comparison with seeing Cape Sounion at night from the deck of the Maya with the full moon shining down on the temple and turning the sea to liquid silver…

You made our anniversary voyage absolutely incredible - and we can honestly say that this made up for us not having a honeymoon when we got married ten years ago! Merci beaucoup nos amis!

We have been telling everyone about Seapaths and recommending you to our friends and colleagues, so don't be surprised if you get more calls from your Mediterranean cousins!

Our family had a wonderful time playing Tourist!

A big Hello and "Thank you!" from the Hoover family! We had a wonderful time on our family reunion last summer. It was one of the best experiences we ever had - especially because we were able to meet real Greek families and felt connected to the island. Some of the children who played with our kids even ended up calling me "Thia" which, I'm told, means "auntie"!

We also took some great photos - there's one shot especially of about 8 or 9 kids running along the golden-red sand beach as the sun was setting - that I'm going to have blown up and framed!

Thanks again for everything you did - the devil may be in the details, but you turned our vacation into paradise because you took care of everything - even the incident with the overboard backpack! I think the thing everyone was surprised about was that the price was comparable to what we would have paid for one of those huge cruise ships but the total experience went so far beyond that...we were treated like celebrities the entire time.

Sincerely,
All the Hoovers

"Experience of a lifetime! I had the experience of a lifetime the summer of '06 when I took a week off work and went sailing with Seapaths in Greece.
As a Travel Manager for a Fortune 250 company, travel is my business. I had never been on a sailboat let alone one on the ocean. From the first step on board our 44' yacht I knew that it would be an adventure not to forget. Our Captain was the knowledgeable, professional and very willing to make our trip special and listened to what we were looking to get from the experience.

The final night we dropped anchor at Cape Sounion, under the stars and the Temple of Poseidon. The sense of being in that place on the water is a moment I will never forget !

I look forward to my next cruise ! I highly recommend Seapaths, my sail truly was the experience of a lifetime." Cyclades - Summer 06

"The week was heavenly: from the first evening sipping a glass of wine under the temple of Poseidon and a full moon, to the last day of dolphin sighting as we were passing Aegina, the trip was full of interest and delight. Our captain's knowledge of the area meant that we could avoid the crowds on land and the 'washing machines' around the islands, swim in beautiful coves, and have dinner at delicious little tucked away restaurants. The memory of approaching the harbour at Kythnos after a day's full sail, on a swelling surf, with the sun reflected on the waves and a lighthouse gleaming on the rocks behind us, will remain with us always. And we have never seen such an orderly, clean boat, and we've been on quite a few! Thank you for one of the best times of our lives."

"I recently had the pleasure of cruising the Greek Islands with Seapaths.
I cannot begin to describe the adventure, excitement and acceleration I experienced on this trip. We were made to feel like we were the first and only passengers ever to experience this. We were involved in all aspects of the trip, from hoisting sails to total relaxation.

The feeling of being on the open waters, wind in my face and the peacefulness that went along with this experience will not be forgotten."
